The Games would mean 42 000 lasting jobs and EUR 35 billion in GDP over a seven-year period for the French economy (source Boston Consulting Group). The Corporate Programme set up by the Paris Bid Committee offers French companies of all sizes and from all sectors, across every region, the opportunity to unite the French people in their enthusiasm and bring Paris and France as a whole to victory in 2012.

Members of the Corporate Programme receive exclusive information about Paris’ bid to host the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Debates, information-sharing sessions and a National Forum with organisers of past events, prominent economic analysts and corporations will be held throughout the year, providing an opportunity to look together at the economic impact of the Olympic Games in France.

Along with the Official Supporters, France’s 17 companies with international standing (Accenture, Accor, Airbus, Air France, Bouygues, Carrefour, Crédit agricole, EDF, France Telecom, Lafarge, Lagardère, Publicis, RATP, Renault, Sodexho, Suez and VediorBis), the business community as a whole will enjoy the economic outfall of hosting the Games in France.

By supporting and spreading interest in Paris’ bid to host the Games of the XXX Olympiad, companies will show their motivation and demonstrate the vitality of the business community, so that France can be designated as host to the Games, on 6 July 2005!
