Three challenges for 2012

SERVING OLYMPISM, writing a page of Paris’ history and helping extend the diffusion of sports values: such is the three-fold ambition of the French capital’s bid to organise the Summer Olympic Games of 2012.



Concept and Legacy

THE SIMPLE, effective concept of "one Village, two Clusters" is resolutely athlete centred, and will provide an efficient Games and a sustainable legacy.

IT WILL PROVIDE a secure and green environment where athletes can relax and recover.


Paralympic Games
Archery French Team
INTEGRATED PLANNING within the Paris OCOG will ensure that the Paralympic Games are exemplary.

Media Operations

THE CONVENIENTLY located IBC and MPC will assist the media to provide the best Games coverage.


Finance
THERE HAS BEEN a prudent approach reflecting the IOC desire to reduce the cost of future Games.
