IOC Evaluation Commission in Paris
9-12 March, 2005

The Evaluation Commission of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) will visit Paris between March 9-12, 2005. Paris 2012 is opening an accreditation process for media planning to cover the event. Accreditation will give journalists exclusive access to the Media Work Room and to all press events, including the final IOC Evaluation Commission Press Conference on Saturday, March 12.

IOC Evaluation Commission visit to Paris.
During the visit, the Paris 2012 team members will provide briefings, venue tours and arrange photo opportunities and interviews with the executives of the Paris 2012 bid committee. Please contact Paris 2012 Global Media Office to arrange or to receive more information.
Please be advised that, in accordance with the IOC rules, the IOC Evaluation Commission meetings will be closed to the media and the Evaluation Commission members will not be available to speak to the press, with the exception of the IOC Evaluation Commission press conference on the final day. Thank you in advance for respecting these guidelines.

The Media Work Room will be available for accredited media only, from Wednesday, March 9 to Saturday, March 12.
For international media requiring accommodation, the Sofitel Champs Elysées hotel (4 stars) will offer rooms at a significantly discounted rate of 120 euros per night.
Please contact Paris 2012 if you need assistance in arranging a reservation.
Transfer arrangements from train stations and airports will be made for international media requiring assistance.
The Accreditation Desk will be open on Tuesday, March 8, 1.00 pm, and will remain open until Sunday, March 13, 1.00 pm. Media seeking accreditation should send the attached accreditation form to Paris 2012 by Monday, February 7. Media should bring a valid Press ID with the name of their organization to pick-up their accreditation.
